Business Intelligence: SAP BI (Business Intelligence) Is the data and information available for making high efficiency analysis of decisions, and Business Intelligence covers a lot of aspects when making a decision, refers to a set of methods and techniques that are used by organizations for tactical and strategic decision making. It leverages technologies that focus on counts, statistics and business objectives to improve business performance, which allows companies to make decisions in a clear and healthy environment.

The following topics are included in SAP BI Training:

Info Cubes:

Info Cubes are made up of a number of Info Objects. All Info Objects (characteristics and key figures) are available independent of the Info Cube. Characteristics refer to master data with their attributes and text descriptions.

Info Cube consists of large dimensions tables contain the main figures of the Info Cube, and also contains a smaller dimensions of tables contain the characteristics of Info Cube which surround it. Therefore it is considered consists of several information objects or (Info objects) and therefore are structured according to the star schema.

An Info Cube fact table only contains the main figures contain, while in the data store, which is part of data possible that contain characteristics object. The characteristics of an Info Cube are stored in its dimensions.

There is a link between both dimensions and fact table with each other, through the abstract identification numbers (dimension IDs) which are contained in the key part of the particular database table. As a result, the main figures of the Info Cube relate to the characteristics of the dimension. The characteristics specify the degree of detail reached at which the main figures are stored in the Info Cube.

Are grouped properties with a single logic together, which are assembled in one dimension, by adhering to this standard be-dimensional design to a large extent independent because of like-put with each other, and remain with small dimensions tables regardless of the size of the information set out, and this leads to the implementation of the performance in a perfect way, This Info Cube structure is optimized for data analysis.

Extended Star Schema:

There is a difference between the business warehouse extended star schema and the basic star schema, in case of extended star schema, we will have Fact table connected to the Dimension table and the Dimension table is connected to the SID table and SID table is connected to the master data tables. Fact Table and Dimension table will be inside the cube, SID table and Master data tables are outside the cube.

When we load Transaction data into Info Cube, System generates DIM ID based on the SIDâ??s and uses the Dim IDâ??s in the Fact Table. Each Characteristic can have its own master data tables (ATTR, TEXT, and HIER). Attribute Table is used to store all the attribute data, Text table is used to store the description in multiple languages, Heir table is used to store the Parent-Child data.
